I am so proud of each student that worked on their music, got over their fears, sang in front of the judge, and received a Blue Ribbon for their efforts!!! Way to go, MLMS Choir students!!!

DECEMBER Schedule

Thursday, Dec. 8 7^th & 8^th Mixed Choir rehearse during 1^st period with Mrs. Rowden

Boys Choir will check in to 1^st period teacher & then come to choir room

Friday, Dec. 9 7^th & 8^th Mixed Choir All Day Field Trip – Kilgore Holiday Tour

(You must be passing all subjects in order to attend.)

Wear Choir T-shirts with long sleeved shirt underneath & nice jeans

Monday, Dec. 12 ALL Choirs FINAL Rehearsal at KHS during 1^st, 2^nd, and 3^rd periods. Go to 1^st period & then at 8:30 you will be called over intercom to meet in choir room.

Tuesday, Dec. 13 6:30pm CHRISTMAS CONCERT in KHS Auditorium

6:00pm SHARP!!! Meet in KHS Choir Room (back of the High School)

CONCERT ATTIRE:

Girls: Black choir dress, black shoes, 1 necklace, 1 bracelet, earrings

Boys: Black dress pants, white button-down long sleeve shirt, tie, black shoes

ALL: NO JEANS OR TENNIS SHOES!!

Friday, Dec. 16 7^th & 8^th Mixed Choir 9:00am KIS Christmas Program

(You must be passing all subjects in order to attend.)

2011 All Region Choir Auditions

This Saturday, October 15, 15 MLMS choir members will be traveling to Pine Tree Junior High for the All Region Choir Auditions. We will leave the school at 8am to go and compete against hundreds of students in our local area from other schools. The top 25 students in each section (soprano, alto, baritione) will have the privilege of performing with the All Region Choir in a concert on Nov. 5! Good luck to all of my students auditioning!
